Today out of a sudden, my colleague suggested that we go to Jalan Yew for Lum Mee. I agreed and this is the FIRST TIME any of us drove out of our office for lunch because of the ridiculous parking rates in our office. But for Lum Mee, we went anyway and i drove. 

Right before we reach Jalan Yew, we were cruising happily and all smooth until suddenly…

BANG~

My car was hit on the driver side from my front tyre till the back tyre.  (ACTUALLY, i was hit at the back first and then she dragged her car right up till the front fender)

My defense, i was already out from my junction. The Red X marks where i was hit. The Honda Accord that hit me, WFP 6822 was a modified car with dark tinted and very lowered bumper. Her damage was a dent on the Left Bumper at the corner of her car.

We couldn’t stop there obviously since it’s very jam at that time (12pm) and the traffic is mad. Note that during the accident both of us were super slow because JAM, we move forward to Jalan Yew, find a parking to discuss.

As i got down from my car…. 

:( . Sigh. another accident. And AGAIN kena hit by people. :(  Then i saw my car. SIGH. ….

Here are part of the conversation when i saw her.

HADIBAH :: YOU NAMPAK TAK KERETA SAYA
me :: you nampak tak kereta saya?
HADIBAH :: YOU ADA IC?
me :: ada
HADIBAH ::YOU ADA LESEN?
me :: ada
HADIBAH ::YOU TAU TAK SAYA POLIS?
me :: SO?
HADIBAH :: MY HUSBAND PUN POLIS OK. (the she pulled out  her polis ID and i saw that she was just a police konstabel)

*NOTE that the upper caps means she’s SCREAMING*

me :: So awak polis so? My father is also a police office does that mean you can hit someone and scold them?
HADIBAH :: *ignores me and call her husband* ” blablabla .. ada orang langgar saya lah tak tau sekarang tengah cakap dengan dia lah ni… niha aku kena langgar blablabla”

*passes me the phone* MY HUSBAND NAK CAKAP NGAN U

me :: hello? who’s this?
husband :: KENAPA AWAK LANGGAR KERETA? U TAK NAMPAK KER KERETA DIA TU? (insert scolding for 5 minute)
me :: Kenapa awak tinggikan suara and bercakap dengan saya? ADA TAK SAYA MARAH AWAK? ada tak saya cakap awak yang salah? sekarang kereta saya rosak dari tayar depan ke belakang. u ingat siapa yang salah? kalau tak puas terus lapor balai.
husband :: *continue insert scolding from the husband*
me :: HEI! (I LOST MY TEMPER). AWAK MARAH SAYA NI UNTUK APA? AWAK ADA KAT TEMPAT KEJADIAN KER? SKRANG NAK CAKAP SIAPA BETUL OR SALAH BUKAN AWAK? BUAT APA AWAK MARAH SAYA.
husband :: BIARLAH AWAK TAK SUKA LAPORLAH BALAI.
me :: memang pun saya akan lapor.
*toot* end

then she called the husband again .. dono what happen there. we exchange information. then me and my colleague went to have lunchie and head to the balai polis trafik at petaling street.

the poor car that bang me. or should i say.. i banged.

when we reach there.. we saw the husband and wife there.

they reported the incident before us and were chatting with the staffs there. So i continued my reporting and went to see the Pegawai handling our case. Sgrt. Rasidi (NO : 110471) . Upon entering, i already felt something wrong because both husband and wife was sitting outside the room and talking with another officer and i heard the officer say “dont worry.. we will settle this.. blablabla”

so… i went in the room, sit in front of SGT RASIDI and he gave me this smirk on the face. and then i handed my report to him and then he said …

“Sebab dia datang dulu, i akan tengok dari apa yang saya dah dengar. Dalam kes ini, dia pengadu no 1, you no 2.”

“sekarang you tunjuk kat saya apa yang jadi”. and then he handed two toy cars for me. I showed him what happened exactly with my colleague sitting beside me.

Then without even thinking or anything, he said.

“Sekarang dari apa yang i dah dengar, i akan bagi you saman. Kalau you tak puas hati, you boleh bawak kes ini pergi makamah”

i was like. WHAT? DID I HEAR EVERYTHING

CORRECTLY? I WAS HIT. AND I GOT A SUMMON?

Then i argued. I was not even turning out from the roundabout. I WAS ALREADY IN THE ROUNDABOUT and I AM NOT THE ONE TURNING ANYWHERE. i am following the flow of the traffic and SHE WAS THE ONE who put the left indicator and TRIED TO GO INTO MY LANE BUT DINT BRAKE ON TIME and HIT MY DAMN CAR. FROM THE FRONT TYRE TILL THE BACK!

my car’s damage. :( front tyre to back tyre. scratches at the back, dent at the door and front fender :( not forgetting, my stickers :(

then he said

“Okay kalau u tak puas hati boleh tanya my IO (Investigation Officer)”, and the IO name is MANI. WTF.

But MANI was out for lunch, so he ask me to ask the rest of the officer who is at fault in this case. One of the officer then said.

“Well obviously you are wrong because the law says that IN A ROUNDABOUT PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO THE RIGHT LANE

and SHE WAS IN THE ROUNDABOUT FIRST. ”

so it was my fault, to be there at that time… to be hit.

right. I am super dissatisfied. BECAUSE IS THERE SUCH RULE SUCH AS just because you are in a roundabout first you can HIT anyone and not be blame for it?

Just because you are in the right lane YOU CAN HIT ANY CAR? 

IS THAT THE FUCKING  RULE?

so i kept arguing, giving my justification. each and everytime i was just given this explanation, that i am wrong because she is in the right lane. 

even if i was in a one lane road and following the flow of the traffic and just got hit innocently like that.

No matter how i argued, apparently i was still wrong. because i just so happen to be there that time. 

and the funny thing was.. all of the officers had this smirk on the face i felt like there must have been something happening earlier on in the same place.

Mani the IO then return and after hearing the incident again from me, he ask SGNT RASIDI to bring me and the other woman to the scene again and take photos.

Deep inside, i already know that no matter what, he will say i am wrong. and boy am i so right. Just at the scene, i show him where i was hit and he kept arguing until i said so this is the law huh? for me to be going on my lane and she cut into mine and hit me on my side and not just my mudguard or fender but my whole SIDE and i was wrong because i just so happen to be there turning into m lane which is a one way lane? is this YOUR JUSTIFICATION?

haha. guess what he said?

“well.. I BOLEH SAMAN U SEBAB U LANGGAR UNDANG2 DI ROUNDABOUT, PRIORITY IS RIGHT LANE. I TAK BOLEH SAMAN DIA SEBAB TAK ADA UNDANG UNDANG YANG CAKAP DIA SALAH”

with that.. i just dont feel like speaking anymore to HIM or to any officers at all because i know no matter what i say, i will still get the summon no matter what.

like WHAT THE FUCK. GOT HIT. IN MY LANE. AND GOT A SUMMON.

so we return back to jalan banda polis trafik station. And procede to take photos of the damage of the car. WOW. another story here.

Sgnt rasidi says :: okay..  tangkap gambar you dulu (refering to the women)
Some other police :: Oh yang ni? Yang ni tak payah.. husband you tadi dah datang… I dah tahu dah (wtf???)
Sgnt Rasidi :: OH? DAH AMBIK? tunjuk jap..
Some other police :: (shows sgnt rasidi the pics..)

then Sgnt Rasidi look at me.

Sgnt rasidi says : Okay sekarang ambik gambar kereta you. Lepas tu you masuk ya?
me :: ok (continues to show the police my car)
Some other police :: (took the picture of my number plate)
me :: (because i felt something wrong since i WAS THERE) You dah ambik gambar kerosakan?
Some other police :: sudah
me :: YER KER? TAK NAMPAK PUN? YOU AMBIK NUMBER PLATE JER? TUNJUK?
Some other police :: tak boleh. Ini computerized punya. lepas ambik masuk dalam komputer kat dalam.

WHAT THE FUCK. SERIOUSLY. WTF?

i already know what is the outcome when i go in. i don’t even have to say anything.

Upon entering the office, SGNT RASIDI ask me to sit down and wrote me the summon. He then told me the summon comes to the amount of RM1000 but minimum amount if i plea when i pay will be RM300 and the amount will be known when i go and pay. If i am not satisfied, i can just go to court.

well well.

if i am guilty… if there is a right justification to this… i will pay the summon no matter what.

but because i was so INNOCENTLY HIT. AND THEN GOT A SUMMON for being hit. AND because of all the things that happen prior to that… i am COMPLETELY ANGRY. AND REALLY REALLY ANGRY. at how this case is justiced. Just because that husband and wife are police officers i get blamed for being HIT? IS THAT FAIR?

Seriously. WELCOME TO MALAYSIA. WHERE THE COPS RULE. and if you get hit by a police, you get a summon for it. 

My colleague was there. in the car. in the police station. there with me, and he witnessed everything.. how everything was just PLAIN ABSURD. FROM THE START. 

I cant even express how angry i am because just thinking at the smile SGNT RASIDI have when he saw me i felt like puking.

Malaysia’s law is so fucked up that not to say im racist , but the department police officers were MALAY and they were looking at me with this “LOOK” just because i speak english and because i wore a SPAGGETTI. and the way they speak to me leaves me no chance to even describe what have happen because no matter how i say it, they say the law is at her side because she is in the right lane.

like seriously fuck lah. Just because she is a fucking police doesnt mean she wont do wrong okay. And also just because EVEN HIS HUSBAND IS A POLICE doesnt mean they are RIGHT OKAY. to hit me like that and i got the blame.

fuck.

what most impresses me is that i tried asking the officer that what if she was driving in such top speed that she hit me hard and i die? WHO IS AT FAULT?

guess what.

THE OFFICER SAID I AM AT FAULT AND I WILL STILL GET SUMMON. wtf. even if i die. wtf wtf wtf wtfwtf.

JUSTICE. THIS IS MALAYSIA.

BERSIH. CEKAP. AMANAH.

TIME AFTER TIME, malaysia just fucking dissapoints me with its fucking corruption and law which is IF YOU ARE HIT BY A POLICE.. YOU ARE WRONG.
