Levi’s Eve Square Cut Jeans (577)

Last weekend i went to hunt for a new pair of jeans. 

When i really hunt for jeans.. i would spent hours just trying on jeans to find a perfect pair. I don’t care if the promoter starts cursing or say mean things etc…

but yeah.. i’d make sure i find something i really want before paying 200-300 bucks for one pair.

My initial plan was to get the ALL NEW levi’s 592, super low waist straight cut. BUT.. to my despair…….. most levi’s store sold out on that beautiful pair. T_T. I manage to find the 592 @ sg wang but they only have size 28 and 26 left. I could fit into both.. but size 26 made me look like a pear. or dumpling. or anywhere in between. but the promoter guy kept saying 26 is better and i should buy the size 26 pair of 592. Size 28 was normally the size to go but surprisingly it was very loose. size 27 habish. T_T

dilemma.

To buy the tight size 26 592 or loose size 28 592. hmph. Other stores all run out d.. HMPH. and i actually dont really like the colour of the ONLY 592 design left in the store.

after few rounds of walking from pavilion to lot 10 to sg wang to bts levi’s stores and back to pavilion and then back to sg wang in the egrh. rain…..

i came back to the shop and try them on again. cant decide. Simply have to buy a pair before i leave because that was my purpose going that far that day.

so i tried on my fav 593, marissa, and some new arrivals.. still cant decide.

then tried on the infamous eve/577 … cant decide also since i really love square cut jeans but … what about 592? i love it so much i must have it but dont have my size and its not my fav colour.

i like the 577 also but i already have a pair at home but in diff colour of course.

i also own 2 593s and a pair of marissa.

bah. so stress…. the klcc’s levi’s ran out of 592s the week it arrived. MV’s store don’t even have to ask they normally don’t have my size T_T because apparently its the common size wtf if common size they should stock more lor cis

in the end i bought.. the rare eve square cut jeans with purple stitching. cant even think straight anymore that time. But i guess.. going home with a levi’s never goes wrong.

but i still like the 592. :( sads.

For the past years, i have been waiting for a rock concert like Avril’s to happen. And i was MORE THAN HAPPY TO KNOW SHE’S COMING! TO MALAYSIA! 29TH AUGUST. STADIUM MERDEKA.

She may not be my FAVOURITE ARTIST of all time.. but i DO love ALL HER SONGS. Heck, i even know how to sing every line of her songs ever since she came out with Complicated.

And the fact that Her concert is going to be the same day as Adrian’s Birthday.. i told adrian that IM SO SORRY but AVRIL IS MORE IMPORTANT ok.. T__T It’s like a LIFETIME opportunity to even catch a glimpse of her ESPECIALLY RIGHT HERE IN MALAYSIA.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 9 — Pas has demanded the government ban pop superstar Avril Lavigne from performing in the country, saying that it would insult the Merdeka freedom fighters.

Kuala Lumpur Pas Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamad said the government should instead hold patriotic and civilised concerts as well as organise history-writing contests and historical exhibitions in conjunction with the 51st anniversary of the country’s independence.

On Saturday, Federal Territory PAS Youth chief Kamaruzaman Mohamed handed over a memorandum to Kuala Lumpur Mayor Datuk Hakim Borhan and the Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry calling for a ban on the concert.

The PAS wing is asking the authorities to ban the show because “rock and punk is not suitable for the young generation and especially so during Merdeka month.”

KUALA LUMPUR: The Avril Lavigne concert in Stadium Merdeka, here, on Aug 29 has been cancelled.

Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage Minister Shafie Apdal said that the concert falls during the nation’s independence period and was not a suitable time to hold such a concert.

There are a lot of events on Aug 29 and the Ministry does not want the independence and the near Ramadan month to be filled with such pop and rock culture, he said.

“As the Minister of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage, we should be instilling good culture in the young but here we are allowing other parties to organise things,” he said Wednesday after launching the IDeAS for enhancing Integrity book.

Kate Voegele, an excellent musician who appears in S5 OTH under Peyton’s Record Label. A rerun on OTH this week got me repeating this song and loving the meaning behind it, loving someone for who they really are.

At first i thought she’d be the same kinda person when she’s not acting in OTH.. but apparently she’s really cool off set. Her voice is beautiful. I love all the music featured in OTH. Remember Gavin deGraw? Fall Out Boys? The Honarary Title? Tegan & Sara? They always end up being Great HITS and no 1 tracks in charts and being repeated endlessly in my playlist.
